Our Roots are Showing

Brandon is known for its diversity—and among those different elements is its rich, agricultural heritage. The city hosts annual agricultural events such as Manitoba Ag Days, considered Canada’s largest indoor farm show and Manitoba Ag Ex, which includes an all-breeds cattle show and Manitoba Finals Rodeo!

Display Building No. II (Dome Building)
Directions: Located on the Keystone Centre Grounds
Built in 1913, Brandon’s iconic Dome Building is a symbol of the city’s rich agriculture history and a landmark for the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba and their annual fairs and exhibitions. The building was designated a provincial heritage building in 1984 and a national historic site in 1999. Ten years later, restorations began to restore the Dome Building to its former glory. The building was officially re-opened on June 1, 2019 with the offices of the Provincial Exhibition moving in followed by a collection of other local business tenants.
