Located minutes from Brandon and just off Highway 1, Grand Valley is a nicely treed campground set in the beautiful Assiniboine River valley and is home to the historic Stott Site. The park is host to a look-out tower and interpretive trail which explains the rich First Nations history of the land. The campground has 22 electrical sites, 20 un-serviced sites, and includes washroom facilities with showers. Water is available at different spots throughout the park.

More than 60 sites, including back-in and pull-through sites. Both 30-amp and 50-amp service is available. The campground is conveniently located along Highway 1 and features easy access. Big rigs are welcome! Meadowlark offers all the amenities you’d expect from a full-service campground, including upgraded free WiFi, free showers, laundry facilities, a convenience store, playground and dump station. A variety of dining options—both national chains and local eateries—are located nearby, and more are just minutes away.

Turtle Crossing is situated on a sprawling 65-acre parcel of land bordered by the Assiniboine River to the south, Lake Percy to the north, and farm land to the east and west. Just far enough away from Highway 1 to eliminate the traffic noise, and only a short drive from Brandon’s city centre, it offers a rare combination of seclusion and convenience. The park features free WiFi, coin laundry, playground, basketball courts, 5 km of hiking/bike trails and fire pits at every site. The Assiniboine River provides an opportunity for fishing, kayaking, swimming, and tubing or you can cool off and paddle around in their gigantic wading fountain. Kayaks, canoes, river tubes, and one-person inflatable boats are available for rent on-site. Firewood is available as well.
