Brandon-Westman Christmas Cheer

More About this Event

Last year we received 1714 referrals1 for hampers. Our capacity to fill and deliver hampers is
limited to 1200 hampers. Fortunately, groups, and businesses came forward and adopted 389
families. The result was every family who was referred received a hamper. We are expecting
over 1800 referrals this year. Our mission is to provide hampers to families with children first. It
is the Christmas Cheer’s Board of Directors’ hope that families, friends, community groups, and
local businesses can again augment the hamper program by adopting a family or families.
Details can be found on our website at https://www.brandonwestmanchristmascheer.ca/adopt-afamily.
The process can be initiated online or over the phone. The cost of adopting a family is
eligible for a tax receipt for income tax purposes. Proof of purchase is required.
