More About this Event
Thursday, November 24 | 4:30 to 6:30 PM
Join us for a free Lunch and Look event, Pathway to Change: A conversation about art and hope for a better future, led by Bernie Mullins, Coordinator of Chaplains at Manitoba. We will view and discuss artworks by youth and adults currently incarcerated in Manitoba. The exhibition features 38 drawings currently on display in the AGSM Community Gallery, brought to us by the Manitoba Multifaith Council Justice and Corrections Committee. This rich and diverse annual art competition has been sponsored by Prison Fellowship Canada for 2022, with the intention of expressing the creative force of these individuals in positive and productive ways.
Also joining the discussion will be staff from the John Howard Society, and guest artists from the Men’s Resource Centre. AGSM Curator Lucie Lederhendler will be moderating a Q & A. The John Howard Society will be providing refreshments.
